Cheer (Football Season)

Requirements to participate:

  • Online Registration:
    • You must complete online registration through Bound in order to participate in DMPS athletics.
    • Register Here
      • Click “Register for Activities” (GREEN BOX)
      • If you already have students using Bound, use your same login.
      • If you are new to Bound, create a family account using parent/guardian information.  You will then attach each student to this account and will utilize this for grades 7 through 12.
    • Contact Hoyt’s Student Engagement Coordinator (matthew.bjork@dmschools.org) to check your student’s registration status.
  • Physical Exam:
    • A current physical exam is required to participate for all middle school and high school sports.  You will need to upload a photo of your student’s physical exam to their Bound account before they will be eligible to participate.

    • August 31 – October 10

Practice:

    • Practices will be held:
      • At Hoyt Middle School
      • As scheduled, after school from 3:45 until 4:45
      • Please plan to have your student picked up no later than 5:00
      • If your student can’t make it to practice, have them message the coach via e-mail or on Teams.
    • Requested Cheer Gear:
      • t-shirt/shorts for practice
      • athletic shoes
      • personal water bottle
