Biography

Biography:

I love teaching middle schoolers! I consider myself a life-long learner and enjoy expanding my own knowledge and awareness. When I’m not busy being a teacher, I relax by hanging out with family and friends. I spend my free time gardening, reading, biking and enjoying music events of all kinds. I also do some volunteer work in an effort to help others and to give back to my community. I have a shamefully spoiled and pampered dog named Bentley who loves to go for walks with me. My husband Tim and I enjoy traveling and seeing new places. It is our goal to visit all 50 states. We have 17 more to go!

Growing up, I attended Greenwood, Hubble, and Fairmeadows Elementary Schools,  Stillwell Jr. High and Valley High School.  I graduated from Graceland University and currently hold a position on the Alumni Board of Directors.
